Outlook Add-in for Pipedrive · by Stehrway
How to connect Pipedrive to Outlook
Bring your Pipedrive contacts, deals, leads, activities, and notes into the Outlook sidebar. Install the add-in from Microsoft Marketplace, then authorize your own Pipedrive account.
Before you install
You need a Pipedrive account and a compatible Outlook account. The add-in is free, with no trial period or paid tiers. Pipedrive and Microsoft services have their own plans and requirements.
The add-in is designed for compatible Outlook clients on Windows, Mac, and the web. Your mailbox, Outlook version, and organization’s policies determine availability. If your company manages add-ins centrally, ask your Microsoft 365 administrator to deploy it.
1. Add the integration to Outlook
Open the Microsoft Marketplace listing using the installation button below. Follow Microsoft’s installation flow for the account you use in Outlook. Then open an email and find Pipedrive Integration in the message toolbar or Apps menu.
If the add-in does not appear immediately, refresh Outlook on the web or restart the desktop app. Check that you installed it for the same Microsoft account as the open mailbox.
2. Authorize your Pipedrive account
Select Sign in with Pipedrive in the sidebar. Complete sign-in and authorization on Pipedrive’s page, then return to Outlook. The integration uses OAuth: you do not enter your Pipedrive password into the add-in.
Keep the sidebar open while the connection finishes. If the sign-in page does not open, choose Show sign-in URL, copy the link, and open it in your browser. If the request expires, start a new sign-in attempt.
3. Find your first contact
Open a customer email and select the sender or another participant above the contact details. A single matching Pipedrive contact opens automatically; if several records match, choose the correct one.
If there is no match, create a contact after reviewing the prefilled details. If the person already exists under another email address, use Add to existing to avoid a duplicate. You can then review deals, plan an activity, or save the email.
Choose the workflow you need
Saving an opened email creates a note on a selected CRM record. Logging from compose mode creates an activity. Optional sent-email auto-logging has additional client and deployment requirements. Installing the add-in does not synchronize your whole inbox.
Also listed in the Pipedrive Marketplace. Pipedrive and compatible Outlook accounts required.
